How can I prepare for my shitzu's delivery? She is about one month into her pregnancy and I would love to know what to expect & how to prepare ?

There is a lot to prepare and I would visit the library for a help book.
Some main issues: She needs to be on a puppy diet to add extra
calories and nutrients until the puppies are weened. the labor process
if she bears down more than 30 minutes without a p uppy you need to
call your vet. Take her temperature her last week of pregnancy, her
temp will drop from 101 to 98-99 and this will let you know she
should go into labor within 12-24 hours. This is when you need to plan
to be hom and monitor.
